About the instructor


Charles Colten has been training in Aikido since 1986.He currently teaches Aikido in New York, gives seminars around the U.S. and has

taught/trained in Asia, Europe and Latin America. Charles holds the rank of 3rd degree black belt (San Dan) granted from Hombu Dojo

World Aikido Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Charles is currently completing a masters degree in Educational Leadership at Columbia University. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Aikiextensions, Inc., an international organization dedicated to applying Aikido principles to business, healing, arts, education, sports, and more.
